The Perfect Poker Player’s Car

In my travels around the world and across the Internet, I’ve often wondered what the perfect car would be for professional people that play online poker or otherwise.

After some thinking, I realized the car wouldn’t be as obvious as I first thought, since there are several different types of poker players, each with their own special style of play. Regardless of play style, however, I think all poker players would want their car to be one thing: expensive. What better way to show off all those World Series of Poker winnings? ($9 million prize this year, for your information)

If the player were aggressive, the car would have to be something fast and powerful, like a Lamborghini, or even a Bugatti Veyron. These speed demons look and act the part, and I don’t think any aggressive poker table player would mind shooting down the Las Vegas strip in one of them.

But what of the cautious Texas Holdem players? There are quite a few of those, too. They like to play it safe and go with strong hands; they wait like trap door spiders for the perfect hole cars to be dealt so they can cautiously, but steadily, raise the bet and take a huge pot with a sure hand. What would they drive? Either a Volvo, or some kind of drivable bunker, like a Sherman tank or something. Volvo’s gotten steadily more sharp with their car designs lately, but they’ve remained safe, so perhaps that’s the best car for the cautious poker player.
